Final Fantasy XI trailer prepares for the Shantotto Ascension

The newest Final Fantasy XI add-on "A Shantotto Ascension - The Legend Torn, Her Empire Reborn" is available for for pre-order and will go live on November 9th. The new content re-introduces one of the most beloved characters in Final Fantasy XI lore, Doctor Shantotto, who also has a thing for rhyming.

Final Fantasy XI, expansions available via downloadable purchase

Final Fantasy XI and its three expansion packs are now available for purchase via digital distribution. Direct2Dirve hosts the Final Fantasy XI: Vana'diel Collection 2007, which contains all four games, for an astonishing price of $19.95.

For any FF and MMO fans who have yet to experience the only Final Fantasy online game, now is a fantastic opportunity. "Exhilarating quests and an epic storyline await you in Square Enix's premier online role-playing game," the website reads. "Join hundreds of thousands of adventurers and steer the course of Vana'diel's history!"

Each of the games can be purchased individually for $19.95, so if you already have one or even two of the expansions, the full bundle is a much better deal.
