Earlier this week it was revealed that
Monolith is working on
F.E.A.R. 2 Reborn a downloadable single player expansion for their horror themed first person shooter. Today publisher
Warner Brothers Interactive revealed more details about the expansion and confirmed a PC port of the DLC will be released some time after the console versions are released on September 3.
As we have previously reported the DLC will have four new single player maps in a new mini-campaign focusing on one of
F.E.A.R. 2's replica soldiers. It will also add a "slow-mo" power up to
F.E.A.R. 2's multiplayer matches. Whomever grabs the power up will slow down all of the other opponants in the match. A demo for
F.E.A.R. 2 Reborn is scheduled for release on August 27; we have sent out a note asking if there will be a PC version of the demo.
