This patch for the retail version of Zombie Driver updates the game to v1.2.6. It includes content from previous patches, including the free Blood Race content expansion, and fixes a number of gameplay issues. A list of changes can be found after the jump. Last year, indie game developer Exor Studios gave us Zombie Driver, a fun arcade-like game where you piloted a well armed vehicle in a top-down view as you blasted the undead to kingdom come. Today Exor Studios announced plans to release a free expansion pack for the game, Zombie Driver: Blood Race.

As the title indicates, the expansion takes the game's basic premises and adds in a racing mode. New tracks have made created for players to race against other vehicles while the infected try to stop them from reaching the finish line. Driving along and shooting zombies is fun but its even more fun when it's 50 percent cheaper. The development team at Exor Studios have launched a week long sale of their top down shooter Zombie Driver starting today. The sale cuts the price of the game to just $4.99 on PC game download sites like Steam and GamersGate.

As you saw earlier today, the game just got a nice and free update that adds a all new Slaughter gameplay mode. It comes with five new arenas, each with their own enviromental effects. There are also 21 new Steam achievements, improvements for the game's graphical effects and a way to post your high scores on your Facebook page and/or Twitter page.

You may have seen that Exor Studios has finally issued a playable demo for their recent action-driving game Zombie Driver (and yes you can grab it here on Big Download). However the developers still have some plans to expand the game in the future with an upcoming free update.

According to a post on their official web site, the update will bring a new Survival mode to the game. As one might expect this new mode will let players fight off waves of zombies, although it sounds like the maps will be made especially for Survival mode. New Steam achievements and leadersboards will be a part of the update.
