Aspyr to release two more 1C Company games to the US

Earlier this year Aspyr Media became the US publisher for several titles from the Russian based 1C Company including Men of War, Cryostasis and Necrovision. Today the two companies announced that Aspyr would bring two more 1C Company PC titles to the US.

One will be Death to Spies: Moment of Truth, a sequel to the WWII stealth action game featuring the main character Semion Strogov, a member of Russia's spy organization SMERSH. The other is XIII Century Gold Edition, a new collection that contains both the 2008 historical RTS game (set in the Middle Ages) and its upcoming sequel XIII Century: Blood of Europe. Both games will ship sometime this summer in retail stores and via digital download and like 1C Company's previous games they will have no DRM set-up.

Death to Spies: Moment of Truth trailer serves up bloody counter intelligence

Death to Spies: Moment of Truth is the sequel to the stealth action game, Death to Spies. In it, the player takes on the role of Semion Strogov, a captain in a Russian counterintelligence service called SMERSH (which literally translates into "Death to Spies"). Semion will have to use all his skills and embark on new missions that range from gathing intel on enemy movements to carrying out assassinations.

Death to Spies sequel announced

In 2007 1C Company released Death to Spies, WWII stealth action game that unfortunately didn't star a sexy shapely woman in the main role (unlike the upcoming Velvet Assassin). Today 1C Company announced that a sequel has been announced with the title Death to Spies: Moment of Truth (let's hope there's no reference to that awful Fox game show).

The sequel puts you in the role of Semion Strogov, an agent of the Soviet agency SMERSH, who is assigned various missions including assassination jobs. As you can see from the above screenshot Strogov isn't above putting on funny hats to get the job done. The game is due out sometime in the third quarter of this year.
