This Week In PC Games: April 12-18

This week's only retail game release is an expansion of a open world action game released in 2008. In addition there are a few games set for digital download exclusive releases:

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City: Developer Rockstar North released the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV in December 2008. Now the developer releases this PC version of their two Xbox 360 downloadable expansions as a stand alone game to stores this week. It includes The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, each of which adds a new storyline and content to the acclaimed open world action game.

Dark Void Zero coming to the PC via Steam April 12

A few months ago we reported that Dark Void Zero, the downloadable action game for the Nintendo DS that also serves as a prequel to the main Dark Void game, would be coming to the PC. Today Capcom announced that the PC version would be released via Steam on April 12. The original DS version was meant to be a retro game release as if it was made for a NES 8-bit console system.

The PC port of Dark Void Zero will contain some new features such as Steam achievements and leaderboards. It will also have an exclusive secret ending that can be unlocked. Pricing for the PC port of the game has yet to be announced.

CES 2010: Dark Void Zero to be released on PC soon

While the third person action game Dark Void will be released for the PC and other platforms on Jan. 19, publisher Capcom is also offering PC gamers a chance to play something related to the Airtight Games-created title. Previously announced as a downloadable Nintendo DSi game, our sister site Joystiq learned during CES 2010 that the platormer action title Dark Void Zero will also be released for the PC "soon".

The game itself, at least for its DSi version, is being designed to look and play like a "lost" 8-bit NES game. The game itself serves as a prequel to the main Dark Void title with the player controlling Rusty who also happens to have a jetpack to fight off the game's enemies the Witchers. A price point for Dark Void Zero for the PC has yet to be announced.
