War game developer and publisher Battlefront.com has been releasing games in their Combat Mission series for a long time. Today the company revealed plans to release Combat Mission Shock Force NATO, the third "module" in their modern warfare-themed series.

This new product will add three new armies to the game (Germany, Canada and the Netherlands) and will also add more "units and vehicles for the Syrian side". The game will also feature a number of new scenarios and three new campaigns along with new voices, sound effects and other unnamed new features. There's no word yet on when it will be released.

Battlefront.com continues to release new games and expansions in their Combat Mission series of turn based military strategy games. Today the company announced their newest expansion: Combat Mission Shock Force: British Forces. As the name implies this expansion concentrates on the modern day UK military.

The expansion will has new single player and campaign missions as well as a ton of new weapons and vehicles such as the above Scimitar armored vehicle. The developer is also promising some new features that they are not talking about yet. The expansion will require the original Combat Mission Shock Force game and will sell on the Battlefront.com site for $25. No release date has been announced.

If you want to play a military turn based strategy game that's a little different, Battlefront.com's Combat Mission Shock Force may be for you. An offshoot of the WWII based Combat Mission games, Shock Force takes place in the near-future as the US military takes on an organized terrorist force.

Today the first expansion pack for the game, Marines, is now available for purchase and download ( people who want boxed copies will have them mailed out in a couple of weeks). The expansion, which requires the original game be installed, contains new weapons, formations, scenarios and more for the game. The Marines expansion costs $25 and a bundle of both the original game and the expansion is being sold for $45 which is $15 off their separate price.

Combat Missions brings real-time strategy to life using contemporary environments with real-world units and conflicts. Its first expansion, Shock Force - Marines, sends US Marines into hostile territory and these videos show of much of the gameplay. Note that the game is in now way endorsed by or affiliated with the real-life United States Marine Corps.

One of those titles is Combat Mission Shock Force, a near-future themed title that has US forces taking part in a Syrian based conflict. Today Battlefront.com announced plans for their first expansion for the game, Combat Mission Shock Force Marines.

The expansion pack will add a number of new units for both US and Syrian sides along with a new campaign, missions and maps. The current release date is only announced as "soon" and it will be priced at $25. The expansion will online be available online and will not be sold in stores.
