With the first full week of September now with us we begin the busiest time of the year for new PC game release. In addition to the games mentioned here, NCsoft is relaunching its MMO Aion to retail stores with a new expansion pack.

R.U.S.E. - Developer Eugen Systems and publisher Ubisoft try out something different in the RTS genre with this World War II themed game that uses things like dummy units and other features to keep his or her opponent guessing about its next move. This game is also one of the first to natively support Microsoft's Windows 7 multi-platform touch-screen features in order to control your units.

A music-themed puzzle game that was originally released for the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade is heading to the PC via Steam. Developer Zoe Mode has announced that Chime will make its debut on the PC later this summer. Five percent of the proceeds from the PC version will be donate to OneBigGame. The charity organization gives money to two major charities, Save the Children and Starlight Children's Foundation.

Chime uses musical tracks to link to irregular shapes that went combined form rectangular blocks that cover the playing field. Musical artists like Philip Glass, Moby and others have donated their tracks for use in Chime. The PC version will also have an exclusive track; the cult hit "Still Alive" from Valve's puzzle shooter Portal. The game will be released on Steam later this summer.
