This trailer for Dead Rising 2 was shown at Captivate 09 and shows off a great deal about the main character and story, which is set in Las Vegas. That means you'll be able to exterminate some zombies in between placing bets and taking in a show. The double chainsaw weapon may be a little over-the-top, but players probably won't complain.

While Ubisoft has chosen to shut down their own Ubidays event this year in favor of showcasing their upcoming games at events like E3 this June, Capcom is going all out to make their annual press event very special. Last year it was held at the infamous Palms Casino in Las Vegas but this year the publisher is one upping themselves by holding CAPTIVATE 09 in Monte Carlo. No, not the Vegas hotel. The REAL Monte Carlo. In the country of Monaco.

And what will the lucky press folks who get to attend the event get to see? Well in addition to previously announced upcoming games like Dead Rising 2 and Dark Void (both coming to the PC) Capcom plans to announce new games at the event on April 29. Will there be anything to announce at E3? The Giant Bomb podcast has Capcom's Chris Kramer state that there will be at least two new Capcom games that will be revealed at that show as well.
