Players that already own Dragon Age: Origins are eligible to get the sci-fi version of the Blood Dragon Armor in Mass Effect 2. As seen, the armor is clearly made for kicking ass. It increases power damage by 15% and shield strength by 10%.

To round out the crew member trailers, also check out the trailer for Mordin - an alien genius scientist who helps develop weapons and technology for players. He's not too bad in a fight either.

Nothing shows off how badass a character is like their armor, and BioWare is capitalizing on that by offering the Blood Dragon Armor with the purchase of Dragon Age: Origins. In a big fantasy to sci-fi crossover, gamers who also buy Mass Effect 2 when it releases in 2010 will be able to don the futuristic version of the armor. However, the trailer does not reveal what kind of stats or bonuses this special armor will offer. Players will just have to find out for themselves when the Dragon Age: Origins releases in November.

Premiering at GamesCom 2009 in Cologne, Germany, this trailer for Dragon Age: Origins reveals the origins of the the Darkspawn and how the Grey Wardens were formed to fight the evil back. However, the Grey Wardens aren't as powerful as they once were, so players must be prepared for a tremendous challenge by uniting nations in a battle against the evil tide. Dragon Age: Origins is scheduled to release in October for the PC and console systems. Purchasing the game will allow access to the Blood Dragon Armor in Mass Effect 2.

This Mass Effect 2 trailer premiered at GamesCom 2009, held in Cologne, Germany. In it, viewers are introduced to the character Grunt, a Krogan mercenary with a talent for getting rough. No doubt, his strength will be a major benefit to your party but his extremely violent and unpredictable nature may also prove to be a liability. As a bonus, the trailer also shows the Blood Dragon Armor, which will be available as an in-game item to players who purchase Dragon Age: Origins. Mass Effect 2 is expected to release in the early half of 2010.
