This client is for the free-to-play online baseball game, MLB Dugout Heroes. This game features cartoon versions of all-star players and MMO-like gameplay. Visit the official website for more information and to register for an account.

"MLB Dugout Heroes is the first fully licensed and online-based PC baseball game in North America, featuring all Major League Baseball players and stadiums from the past and present. In addition to the MLB-licensed game features, the game has many unique gameplay attractions. Its unique leveling system allows players to grow stronger and better as they continue through the game. Special points are given to players as they complete baseball missions (quests) given daily or weekly, and these points can be used to purchase new players, uniforms, items, and more!"

This promotional skit for Major League Baseball 2K9 features Tim "The Freak" Lincecum, pitcher for the San Francisco Giants and last year's winner of the Cy Young Award. This is the third in a series of skits featuring Lincecum. Clearly, he knows what moves to pick, and that judgment carries over to vending machines too.

These new gameplay trailers for Major League Baseball 2K9 highlight different gameplay aspects. The one featured above shows how the sports announcers realistically banter then get back to the game. The video shown after the jump shows "zero-stitch commentary," which provides a smooth and natural sounding play-by-play report on what happens in real-time. The game is scheduled to release for consoles and the PC on March 3rd.
