Age of Wonders trilogy now available on Impulse; coming to Steam "soon"

Just before its "shut down" late last week, GoG.com added the first Age of Wonders game to its library of titles. While the other two games in the classic fantasy turn-based strategy series will be added to GoG.com in the near future folks who want to get all three games in the series can now do so via Impulse.

The PC game download service is offering the entire series from developer Triumph Studios in a bundle deal for just $19.99. That deal also includes the soundtrack for each game. You can also get each title individually for $5.99 (Age of Wonders) or $9.99 each (Age of Wonders II: The Wizard's Throne and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic). The games will also be made available to users of the Steam service "soon".

GoG.com adds new games and offers new weekend sale

This week has been a busy one for the DRM-free web site GoG.com. Earlier this week the site added the 2005 released horror-themed adventure game Still Life from publisher Microids. Today GoG.com announced that the site has reached an agreement with developer Triumph Studios to offer its turn-based fantasy strategy game series Age of Wonders to GoG.com users.

The first game in the series, titled simply Age of Wonders, was first released in 1999 and is now available for download from GoG.com for just $5.99. The other two games in the series will be made available in the near future. Also, GoG.com is offering a weekend sale of seven Codemasters games. You can get all seven for a 60 percent discount or you can purchase the game seperately for a 50 percent discount.
