It's so freaky! Ok, it's not that freaky but when you write about a game called Freaky Creatures you kind of have to start with something like that. Today it was announced that the upcoming MMO game from Abandon Entertainment will have a promotion with gaming PC maker Alienware.Specifically people who sign up to beta test Freaky Creatures this summer will be eligible to win a number of prizes including an Alienware Area-51 m15x notebook. The game, which allows players to construct their own creatures and then have them battle other creatures online, is scheduled to officially launch sometime this summer....

Coming soon from Abandon Interactive is Freaky Creatures, an MMOG that pits fighting behemoths against each other across PC and Mobile platforms. The game, which will be subscription based with a monthly fee of $5.95, allows gamers to create their own creature from "billions of visual combinations" and do battle online. Strangely, the most unique part of Freaky Creatures is the packaging. When it releases to retail it will ship with a set of creature figures and a USB thumb-drive, which includes the game and collectible powers for your customizable monster.Battles in Freaky Creatures are turn-based and will allow gamers to play cross platform via PC or Mobile phones, with the latter being displayed on a 2D field rather than the PC version's 3D visuals. A beta for Freaky Creatures is planned but no new details on it or the final release have been revealed....
