After reaching the top of the sales charts in the UK, Blood Bowl is now coming to North America. This free patch adds on a ninth all-new faction to the game existing game: the dreaded Dark Elves. The trailer shown above shows these devious players in action. Be aware that his patch is for the original version purchased directly from the official website, and not the one that's releasing on Steam next week, which already includes the Dark Elves.

"Blood Bowl, the imaginary forerunner of football, is an ultra violent team sport set in the Warhammer fantasy universe. It lets players compose a team of Orcs, Elves, Humans, Dwarves and many other fantasy creatures before jumping into the bloodiest arenas. The sport game is both strategic and violent. It requires tactics, a certain amount of game-sense and a lot of self-confidence."

Blood Bowl, based in the UK born Warhammer fantasy niverse is finally releasing in its country of origin. This custom tailored trailer celebrates the game's UK release while showing off many of the game's tactical and team management aspects. Just don't cry about being beaten down on your home field when a greenskin steps on your face.

The newest in a series of videos highlighting Blood Bowl's different teams highlights the Dwarves. They're not especially fast or agile, but they're solidly built and can plow through a defensive line... given their knack for inventions, they might even use a real plow to do it. In Blood Bowl, players compete in a blood sport version of football using characters from the Warhammer fantasy universe.

This trailer gets players ready for the June 26 release of Blood Bowl. the game that takes characters from the Warhammer franchise and pits them against each other in a frenzied, over-the-top blood sport version of football. In all, eight races will be featured in the game.

As fantasy MMO fans eagerly await the official launch of Warhammer Online later this month, Namco Bandai Games is trying to steal a little of Mythic's fame with the announcement today that Warhammer Mark of Chaos: Battle March has shipped for the PC. If you are going, "What? What is this game?" you are not alone.

This RTS game, set in the same universe as Warhammer Online, is basically a stand alone expansion pack to Warhammer Mark of Chaos, a game that was released way back in November 2006. Developed by Black Hole Games, this expansion pack has a new single player campaign, new units and the new multiplayer World Domination mode. However the fact that Namco Bandai has almost ignored this game before today's press release doesn't bode well for it. So considered yourself alerted.

Featured on Xbox360Fanboy, the trailer for Warhammer: Battle March is pretty self explanatory - factions fight to the death. Releasing in two flavors, as an expansion pack for Warhammer: Mark of Chaos on the PC and as a retail console release, Battle March continues the real-time strategy Warhammer storyline. Published by Bandai Namco the upcoming release will hopefully add some juice to the experience which at this point is as dry as the paint on our pewter miniatures.
