Sword of the Stars Complete Collection coming May 14

You may think you have all of the games and expansions for Sword of the Stars, but you really don't. The space strategy game from developer Kerberos and publisher Paradox Interactive is about to release a "Complete Collection" bundle featuring the original game and all of its expansion packs (Born of Blood, A Murder of Crows, and Argos Naval Yard).

And here's the kicker: The Sword of the Stars Complete Collection also has an all new scenario for the game. Hopefully that scenario will be made available for loyal fans and purchasers own the original game and its expansions.. The Compete Collection will be released on May 14.

New Sword of the Stars expansion announced

There's already been one expansion pack released for Sword of the Stars but now developer Kerberos Productions and publisher Lighthouse Interactive plan to expand the space strategy game yet again with A Murder of Crows. The expansion, which will require either the Sword of the Stars Collector's Edition or the first expansion Born of Blood, will be released in the UK in September in retail stores and via download at Gamersgate.

The expansion will add a new playable race, The Morrigi, along with 15 new weapons, new ships technologies and other new features along with UI enhancements and other changes. There's no word yet if the expansion will be released to retail stores in the US.
