CDV files for insolvency
A game publisher that at one time was one of the biggest in the PC game industry could be shutting down operations. The German language investor site for CDV has posted a press release announcing it has filed for insolvency in a Frankfurt court.Launched in 1989, the company was a major PC game publisher just a few years ago with titles like the Blitzkrieg and Codename Panzers series. They also have a subsidiary in the US who recently released titles like the PC retail version of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter and Divinity 2.
