At
QuakeCon 2010, the development team from
Splash Damage showed off playable versions of its upcoming sci-fi shooter Brink. But at a special presentation held at this show on Saturday it was revealed that folks who pre-order the game at
GameStop will be able to get some exclusive and very cool in-game items related to
id Software's
Doom series.
Specifically, the GameStop pre-order will get players some
Doom related clothing items for your Brink player character such as a hat with the classic
Doom logo, a "Hellspawn" tattoo and t-shirts with the
Doom logo and one that looks like your character is wearing the game's light armor. You can also get
Doom related skins for your character's machine gun.
Brink is currently due for release in 2011.
