Review: Fallout 3: Point Lookout

Point Lookout, the latest downloadable content expansion for Fallout 3, takes a short break from the retro sci-fi theme that defines the rest of the game. Instead, this new area centers on more of a B-movie horror theme. Players get to go to some secluded swamplands and unload using a double-barreled shotgun on its mutated, cannibalistic, locals while confronting a local cult. In the meantime, you end up in the middle of a long running feud, uncover a book of the occult, and brew up some moonshine.

More screenshots arrive for Fallout 3: The Pitt

With its release date getting closer, Bethesda Softworks continues to tease us with more screenshots from The Pitt, the second of three planned downloadable expansions to their hit RPG title Fallout 3. Three new screenshots have just been released and we have added them to our gallery.

This second DLC mission takes place within the main Fallout 3 story as a long side mission as you travel from Washington DC to Pittsburgh on a new main quest. The Pitt is more of a standard Fallout 3 mission than the combat-heavy first expansion Operation Anchorage. You can check out the new screenshots and then get ready for The Pitt when it's released on March 24. As we have reported before the DLC is only available via the Games For Windows Live client and costs 800 Microsoft points (about $10) to download.
