Paradox Interactive is holding their annual Paradox Convention later this week where their developers get together in Sweden along with journalists for a big two day preview of the publisher's upcoming projects. This week the developer has announced they plan to make one big announcement every day. Today that honor goes to a new WWII strategy game called
Achtung Panzer Kharkov 1943.
The game will combine both real time and turn-based strategy elements with players able to control either the Soviets or Nazis in six scenarios that portray the real Kharkov Defense Operation in 1943. There are 87 different units in the game from infantry to tanks to airplanes and it also features destructible environments. The game is due for release later in the first quarter of 2010. You can check out a YouTube trailer for the game after the jump.
