If there's one thing that Duke Nukem is known for, it's being as crude and not safe for work as possible. In this case, it involves either throwing around his own excrement (yes, really) or punching off the head of an alien and riding his torso into a building. Both of these trailers for Duke Nukem Forever are most certainly not safe for work on children, but they definitely give a look at Duke Nukem's brand of humor. It's the kind that involves smearing the environment with wet feces and drinking from a contaminated water faucet.

Mafia 2, despite being plagued with inconsistent design, is still receiving DLC. Joe's Adventure is the latest in the add-on campaigns for the open world title, and it's only a week away. To commemorate this, a new trailer has been released for the add-on, and it showcases some of the gameplay players can expect while walking a mile in Joe's shoes. There's nothing particularly new for the Mafia series here, but it does exhibit some great new areas and characters. We love the shootout in the restaurant and the car chase on the ice floes, in particular.

The second DLC adventure for crime-epic Mafia 2, titled Joe's Adventure, is due to hit digital shelves on November 23rd, and the developer has decided to give all us trailer-watching folk a little taste of the action. The new DLC involves the adventures of Joe, main character Vito's best friend and associate in crime. Filled with all the violence, mob drama, and swearing one would expect from a gangster-based game, this trailer gives a brief, but fairly accurate, overview of what players can expect from the forthcoming DLC.

BioShock Infinite is very high on most gamers' watch lists, and here comes a new trailer. Much like the original BioShock trailers, this one shows off gameplay, albeit in a heavily scripted fashion. It follows the player character after he has already arrived in Columbia, and his fight to rescue Elizabeth. There's a lot of really cool sequences, such as fighting off a politician with a newfound gun, a bar fight where you steal a shotgun with telekinesis, and the clockwork beasts at the end, so it's definitely a must-watch trailer. The only real issue is the overuse of motion blur, which can be a bit disorienting

Mafia is one of those sleeper hits one sees on a fairly frequent basis on the PC, but its sequel doesn't look like it'll be a quiet, quaint release like the first was. The latest video in an ongoing developer diary series chronicles the efforts of the developers to make the Mafia 2 world more realistic and important for players. It's nothing particularly revolutionary, but it definitely shows how much care 2K Czech has put into the game.

Several interesting bits are mentioned. First, you can only take 2-3 hits, which is a big difference from the relative immunity to bullets most sandbox protagonists have. Second, cars are intended to handle more realistically, which both makes them "heavier" to control but more satisfying. Third, melee combat will be context-sensitive in regards to take-downs, which means you will be able to do things like smash someone's head into a wall.

Mafia II is a facsinating game. Not because it is an open-world crime game, of which there are plenty, but because it focuses more on semi-realism. This realism extends to the gritty, gangster-ridden plot, and that's just what this trailer from E3 shows off. With executions, explosions, and plenty of in-game cutscenes, it shows us a slice of the life of gangster Vito. If you have been watching previous trailers, it also shows what happens to the Fat Man from last month's trailer.

Now here's a trailer which is scary real. If you're anything like us, you've been addicted to the Civilization series at some point or another. When Civilization IV came out, it was followed by a trailer depicting an eerily plausible Civilization Anonymous group that aims to break people's "one more turn" addictions. They've resurrected the advertisement for Civilization V, and our feelings are still the same. A support group of this kind is a very real possibility.
