Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers

Sierra Online's height of success was in the early 1990s and one of the reasons for it was Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, the first game in the very popular adventure series created by Jane Jensen.

Featuring a deep storyline, solid Hollywood voice acting from folks like Tim Curry and tricky puzzles, this game of voodoo and supernatural mystery in New Orleans is still considered one of the best such games ever made.

Two more Gabrial Knight titles were released by Sierra Online but by the time of the third game was released in 1999 the adventure gene had lost a lot of its attraction for many gamers. Jane Jensen is still working, however, and is helping with the development of a new game, Dark Matter, that's due for release in 2009.
