There were quite a few new game announcements during the month of April but one of the biggest was made on the last day of the month when GDC Game World revealed their plans for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. It's the third game in their post-apocalyptic FPS series and is due out this autumn.

Other games officially revealed in April included the WWII RTS game Order of War, the first person shooter sequel Painkiller Resurrection and, believe it or not, a Mr. T action game. 03/05/09
