Resident Evil 4
The original Gamecube version of Capcom's survival horror game, released in 2005, was hailed as an instant classic with its tension, graphic horror and terrific gameplay. Many people may be unaware that there was a PC version of the game.
The PC port of Resident Evil 4, released in 2007, was based on the graphically inferior PS2 version of the game but that wasn't the only problem. There were a number of technical hitches that kept the PC version from approaching the much superior Gamecube original. Also there was no mouse support at all. Much like Halo 2 Vista we wondered why this port was even done.
