Civilization IV: Colonization

Release date - mid-September

This game isn't an stand alone expansion pack to Sid Meier's Civilization IV. It's basically an all new game using the Civ IV engine that aims to be a (kind of) remake to the 1990s title Sid Meier's Colonization. Yes, you can explore the New World in the 1500s, establish colonies, trade with the natives and war with your neighbors.

Chances of success: Good. Any game from the Sid Meier-Firaxis team will be popular with strategy fans and this looks to be no exception
