Take Two Interactive's 2K Games brand hyped up this sequel to their acclaimed 2007 shooter at E3 last June but just a few weeks later revealed that the 2K Marin-Digital Extremes-Arkane Studios title would not make the fall game line-up.

Take Two said that the reason was simply to give the development teams more time to complete the game. However we have to point out that the sequel will not have any involvement with Ken Levine and 2K Boston which developed the original BioShock. Add to the fact that the new multiplayer mode doesn't look all that exciting and you have a sequel that may not perform as well as the original. 06/08/09
