Red Alert 2 is the end of an era. Specifically, it's the end of the Westwood-controlled Command and Conquer franchise. Interestingly enough, with Red Alert 2, Westwood has made apprixmately half of the Command and Conquer games, with the latter half being made by EA. This means that when EA makes a new Command and Conquer game after 4, they will be the dominant force in the series.
