MDK was released to good sales and widespread critical acclaim, which makes it one of Interplay's most valued franchises. It was also one of the first games to incorporate headshots through the use of the head-mounted sniper rifle. Both milestones make MDK an important game to play, not just because it's a blast but also because of its influence on later games. It's also a ton of fun, so there's always that. It's too bad nobody knows what MDK means, however, although a good supposition is that it is supposed to be "Murder Death Kill" from the movie Demolition Man. 21/09/10
