Empire Earth was heavily hyped, and for good reason. While the Age of Empires series focused on specific eras, Empire Earth aimed to gather all the eras into one. This was a revolutionary concept, and would prove to be a good one, as Empire Earth would go on to be critically acclaimed and sell quite a few copies. It may not be as known as the series that spawned it, but you can't win them all, as they say. 25/05/10
