Earthworm Jim is one of the few games featured on Boot Disk that is a port from its original incarnation. It was released on the Genesis first in 1994, with PC, Super Nintendo, and various other consoles following afterwards. The PC version is arguably the best, thanks to reworked graphics, a bunch of extras, and higher overall fidelity. Most people have played it on other systems, but have probably never known that it could be played right on your desktop. Thanks to Interplay's release of old content, now you know! It was also Shiny Entertainment's first game, and went on to establish them as a talented powerhouse in the industry. 13/10/09
