Black & White was the first game by the newly formed Lionhead Studios, which was an offshoot of the seminal develop Bullfrog. It was also one of the first games that truly reached the hype proportions people have come to expect from the interesting personality that is Peter Molyneux. While it's not the epic revolution that he promised humanity, it's plenty good on its own. Those that went in expecting a fun, engaging strategy game got precisely that, even if it wasn't quite the game that they had heard about. 22/03/10
