New Flock screenshots flock out from Capcom
As we have mentioned before your task is your herd a number of farm animals, Lemmings-style, into a UFO through a series of puzzle-filled levels. While the game is scheduled for release next month there's been no word yet on pricing. We just hope Capcom released the PC version in a more timely manner than they did with the PC release of Age of Booty...which we are still waiting on, by the way.

New Starcraft 2 screenshots; vote for your favorite Dark Templar

Not only that but the web site is giving you the chance to pick which version of the Protoss unit Dark Templar will be put into the final game. You can see the two different versions right here. One has more of a costume look while the other exposes more of the alien's form. You can vote for either one or you can vote to have both models in the game (it would be generated randomly when you decide to build one in the game).

Now two former Iron Lore team members have announced they have bought the rights to two of Iron Lore's unfinished game projects and have formed Crate Entertainment to get these projects on the right track. Iron Lore's lead designer Arthur Bruno and artist Eric Campanella are currently working on the projects in the offices of Demiurge Studios. New Prototype web site launches; new screenshots revealed
The new screenshots seem to show a much dark color palette than previous visuals for the game but perhaps that's appropriate for a game that has you controlling a shape-shifting super powered amnesiac that's running wild in New York City. Originally set for release this past fall Prototype is now due for release sometime in the first half of 2009.

Big Iron: Hello, 2009
So, it's two thousand and nine. Sure, our digital minions are faster and more capable than ever before, but do you ever feel like you're missing out on the whole Gernsback experience? Where the hell is my flying car? This was supposed to be the future, but it's just.... now. We're still using magnetic media, transistors, and keyboards -- no fancy bubble chips, rod logic, or tactical neural implants (to quote Montgomery Scott, "The keyboard; how quaint").So, what does 2009 have in store for us?
For one thing, Small Iron, and lots of it. Manufacturers and hardware vendors throughout the industry spectrum are anticipating a boom in the so-called "netbook" segment. Everyone from AMD and Intel to Acer and Asustek are gearing up in expectation of soaring demand for the ultra-portable/mini-notebook niches that were more or less defined by the introduction of Apple's Macbook Air and the subsequent introduction of the Atom and Eee PC. These certainly aren't desktop-replacement level equipment, but for folks who are frequently on the go and need something more robust than an iPhone or Blackberry, there's every expectation in the industry that these are the New BigSmall Thing.
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin videos fire up the game engine
Two new videos recently released for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. The first (featured above) discusses the game's unique game engine and how it will be improved from the first game. The second is a home-made holiday greeting music video entitled "Walking in a Deathmatch Wonderland." It's worth watching to get some first looks at the multiplayer action and to keep the holiday embers burning just a little while longer... using a flamethrower.
