Microsoft released their latest major update for their Games For Windows client during August. The 3.0 update added a number of new features including ways to download new content for Games For Windows games within the game itself. Account management in the game was also enabled.
It also added new features for game developers including keeping gamers from playing games before a set launch date and allowing people to use the same Gamertag to download games from any PCs. Despite the improvements, Microsoft has yet to put in features for Games For Windows Live like full downloads of games. 31/08/09
