Five reasons to love Fallout 3

Never underestimate the power of the mod community, they take a game that was great and make it sublime. Bethesda has always embraced the modding community, which is why we love them so much here at Big Download. One of the untouchable boons of PC gaming is being able to download and install (for free!) mod packs that today, can be nearly as good -- in their own right -- as official expansions.

We fully expect to see an eventual attempt at a mod that converts the entire game of Fallout 3 into the classic isometric version of the originals, complete with a classic user interface. Whether or not it works or is even good is yet to be seen, but we're sure that such a mod will in fact happen. That's how crazy-strong the mod community is for PC games that embrace it.
