The newest trailer for The Godfather II, called "The Keys to Success" puts more emphasis on the upcoming game's more RPG-like elements and details what players need to do to succeed in the world of organized crime. It's quite simple: Do everything in your power to eliminate the competition and take over everything. Players can expect to pick up the family business early 2009.

FEAR 2 developers go way deep behind-the-scenes

Three new videos released for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, all going behind-the-scenes on the game's development. The first trailer discusses the sophisticated artificial intelligence (featured above), which the first F.E.A.R. was famous for, and the second talks about the improved game engine itself. The last video is slightly more humorous and highlights the people who help make game development possible but none of the glory, the Information Technology people.

This High Definition Texture Pack mod for Need for Speed Undercover was developed by An7hraX, and improves the graphics by making them crisper, reducing the bloom effects and fixing up the HDR lighting. Be aware that the mod changes some of the DirectX 9 files, so programs like Punkbuster may misinterpret it as a cheat in online play. Continue reading for installation instructions. The Benchmark Tool is an application that allows you to run pre-determined sequences in the game engine to test your hardware configuration. It includes three sequences (short – 1 minute, medium – 2mn30 and long – 5 minutes).

The "retail" edition of the Benchmark Tool (included on the Far Cry 2 disc) allows you to record playback file of your gameplay sessions and replay them in the benchmark tool.

Ubisoft has identified a number of bugs in the intial release of the benchmark tool. The download is being taken offline until the issue can be resolved.

Chronicles of Spellborn trailer finds what's hidden

This trailer for The Chronicles of Spellborn demonstrates some of the graphics and gameplay players can expect as they enter this fee-to-play MMO. The game releases in parts of Europe tomorrow (November 27), and later in more European countries on December 5. The U.S. launch is currently scheduled for January 2009.
