If you have been waiting patiently to learn when the first chapter of Telltale Games' Back to the Future episodic game would be released, the wait is over. Telltale has just announced that the first chapter, It's About Time, will be hitting the 88 MPH mark and landing in our hard drives via download a week from today, December 22.

Telltale is selling the entire five chapter "season" on its web site for $24.95 and today the developer is also announcing that after the five episodes are released in downloadable form, every one who ordered the season will get a collector's edition DVD of the series for free (not including shipping and handling). Presumably the DVD collection will also have some behind-the-scenes extras just like previous Telltale Games have had.
