MLB Manager Online announced; taking sign-ups for closed beta test

While 2K Sports may have the rights to publish traditional Major League Baseball games, publisher Sega has just announced a new MLB-licensed title that takes the sport to the PC browser space. MLB Manager Online is a sports management sim title that is aiming to be easy to play for people who don't have a lot of time to check their game's stats.

The game will let players pick from over 900 active pro players to create their dream team and strategy. Every match starts at a predetermined time so there's no need to check on the game's results until a player wants to do so. The site is currently taking sign-ups for the game's closed beta test until December 27. The beta will begin in early January.
