Wow im really Angry now!!!
Yeah first Hot pursuit with no demo or dlc, with lots of stupid bugs and now this...(i want my f******* 50 euros back)
Im even impressed that they will release it on pc at all!!!
But i wont spend my money on a garbage port release so i will get it from a russian fast p2p torrent!!!
Next time if you want my money release a f******** Demo first so i know wtf i will buy!!!
And no i dont care if you release a demo i wont buy a EA Game at all!!!
Too bad that you will release Dead Space 2 and Crysis 2 they deserve a better developer :)))

In 2 weeks time a patch came out that fixed about everything about the PC Version of the game.

Assuming you did buy the game for the full price of 50 euros you must love the franchise and you wouldn't have written that comment.

I think you just downloaded the game and like to complain....

I really hope it isn't a forced port with screens telling you to press the A button, I would hate that.

I would really like to compare the controls in the PC Version prior to buying the game on my 360. I was thinking if I was about to turn around faster, the game would be a little less terrifying. alot of pc gaming including myself buy a F**Kload of games you should see my game shelf and if you call me a pirate then ill just have to piss down your throat and chop your head off

yes i download games who doesnt i bet you have downloaded somthing in your life to technically everyone who uses the internet is a pirate you just downloaded someones webpage for viewing on your own pc so your a pirate aswell

i bet you have atleast one copied music cd or game lying around your house aswell

Well, here's my story with Dead Space. I have a story with pirating that I'm sure many could identify with, and that if single-minded publishers would take note of, would help them in their misguided crusade against it.

I pirated Dead Space way back in the day because it was a Skullptura rip and just too easy to do. I played about 6 hours of it, then I just kind of stopped and some time later happened to get a new computer, eliminating my chances of finishing it. But my experience was positive, and that stayed in my mind. Then I felt bad for ripping off the devs and, when the Steam sale gave me the $10 deal, I decided to pay for my awesome experience and finish the game while I was at it.

I pirated a few games back in the day, but I grew up, got wise, and decided not to rip off publishers anymore, and have never fully enjoyed a game I have pirated because I have principles. So do most PC gamers. However, I would not be averse to downloading a game to try it out when there's no demo and not enough info online to qualify the PC version specifically, and have done this on a few select occasions.

EA, if you give PC users no demo, you invite piracy. That's just how it is, and sorry if your execs hate PC users even more for it. If you treat PC users like second-class citizens, you will see a reaction, and I don't mean this as some idealistic revolutionary statement, just as a natural result of your company's policy.

Take a cue from Bioware. Dragon Age was optimized for PC and trusted PC users that they wouldn't pirate it, and the simple disc check was a show of good faith. I bought that game and still play it, and it's one of the best-loved recent games on this platform because Bioware gave the PC community a big old hug and said someone still cares about you. You don't need to give us special uber game mechanics the way they did, but you could at least drop the piracy crusade and make amends with the PC game community you have alienated on many different occasions in recent memory. Oh yes, because they wanted to test it out before buying and there was no demo.

its easier to hack a game for the 360 and WII now days than a pc, as once u chip the console, all u have to do is get the game of the net.

plus the PS3 is getting hacked already, thanks to the HDD which comes on it, making easier to just put the games there. lots of ppl have done it already, so y do pc gamers which buy an original copy have to go through millions of checks and make accounts just to play a simple game while console ppl dont get anything at all?Posted at 2:03AM on Feb 12th 2011 by martin
