There's an upcoming arcade game called Waves that could get a demo released on Monday, if a certain condition is met. Waves is a Geometry Wars-like shooter made with Epic Games' UDK engine from the one man development team of Squid in a Box.

There's apparently a playable demo that will allow folks to get hands on with the first few minutes of the game but its creator is wanting to get 1,000 followers on his Twitter page by Monday before he will release the demo. He describes it as a "buggy, unfinished unbalanced and 100% Work-in-Progress game that hasn't even reached what I consider to be alpha yet." But when you see the video of the gameplay after the jump you may think it's worth it.
