Last year developer The Creative Assembly and publisher Sega announced the latest game in the long running Total War historical RTS series. The game at the time was called Shogun 2: Total War. Now, as confirmed by Eurogamer, the game has got a new title: Total War: Shogun 2.So why flip the title's words around? According to a Sega spokesperson "Both Creative Assembly and Sega have intended to invert the Total War naming convention for some time. The Total War series of games spans over 10 years of titles. We wanted to identify all of these as one series using a more obvious naming convention for players." The game is still set for release on March 15, 2011.
