Battlefield 1943 PC update: "We are obviously working on the PC platform"
He states, "We are obviously working on the PC platform and we'll be ready to talk about that shortly. You should see information around the PC platform in the not too distant future." Of course we have gotten the same message from EA PR reps for the past several months on this game so the "not too distant future" statement should be taken with a big grain of salt.

At this point, neither EA or PC gamers will enjoy having BF1943 PC. Just let it go EA, and do something for PC to make it for this.Posted at 1:06PM on Nov 2nd 2010 by Unknown
I was wondering if players who own the xbox 360 version of battlefield 1943 can play with people who have the windows version (when it is released).

Perhaps they handed development over to 3d realms. George Broussard should have it ready for us in about 8 years.Posted at 10:27AM on Nov 3rd 2010 by Solice

If anything is "obvious", it's that either they aren't working on it, they aren't getting enough manpower/resources to do the job, or they just don't care about this game anymore. Oddly enough though, I liked the demo enough on 360 (except for not being able to kill people due to my apparently retarded thumbs) that even after waiting over a year for a simple port on a relatively small game, I'd still drop $15-20 on this if it ever makes it out.Posted at 12:07PM on Nov 15th 2010 by steph

'Obviously'? I think not. With the PC being a proverbial second class platform these days it is never obvious that developers will port to us. And on that note, FUCK YOU ROCKSTAR for ignoring the PC for Red Dead Redemption.
