Publisher City Interactive is apparently riding the sales success of its budget priced first person shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior. Today the Germany-based developer announced that it will be licensing CryEngine 3, the graphics engine made by Crytek for its upcoming first person shooter Crysis 2.
The engine will be used to make two unnamed first person shooter titles over the next couple of years, according to City Interactive's press release. Crytek has been successful in signing a number of other developers to use CryEngine 3 over the past several months including deals with Illfonic, Ignition Entertainment and more.
