Borderlands gets players ready for Duke Nukem Forever

Fans of off-the-wall shooters have a lot to get excited about thanks to a deal announced today by 2K Games. Gamers that purchase the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition for consoles or PC when it releases on October 12th will get free membership certificate for the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club. Members will get exclusive early access to the Duke Nukem Forever demo, which will come out sometime before the full game releases. Unfortunately, it looks like players who bought Borderlands and its DLC expansions separately are ineligible for this offer.

The Borderlands Game of the Year Edition includes the core game and all of the DLC expansions: The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, and the newest expansion - Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. Duke Nukem Forever is expected to release in 2011.
