Medal of Honor PC open beta goes live; EA dealing with connection issues [Update]

As promised, publisher Electronic Arts has activated the online servers for the PC multiplayer open beta test for Medal of Honor. The open beta for the upcoming first person shooter, which contains two maps, two gameplay modes and more, is scheduled to run until 11:59 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, October 7. The game itself is due for release on October 12.

Some players are apparently encountering issues with multiplayer server disconnects while playing with the open beta. In a post on the game's UK message boards, the associate producer for the game posted word, "we are working as fast as possible to resolve this. Please stick with us and we'll get you in game as soon as possible."

Update: It looks like those connection issues have now been resolved.
