A few weeks ago Blizzard gave some advanced info on the upcoming 1.1 patch for StarCraft II. Now Blizzard has announced that the first major patch for the hit sci-fi RTS game will be made available to download on Tuesday (there have been a few small patches that were previously released).

This 1.1 patch, as we previously reported, will have quite a few gameplay balance changes for units as well as some mod and editor feature editions. It will also support Nvidia's 3D Vision technology for the first time. The patch update also means the game will not be able to be played online from 8 am to 2 pm Eastern time on Tuesday.
