Direct2Drive's end of summer sales event keeps on keeping on with its daily price cuts. Today, the PC game download site puts two more titles on the price chopping block. These sales will end at 3 pm Eastern time on Sunday.
One is the recently released puzzle-RPG sequel from developer Infinite Interactive, Puzzle Quest 2. It's price has been cut by $5 to $14.95. The other game on sale is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. You can get the 2009 first person shooter from developer Infinity Ward for "just" $49.95, a $10 discount from its normal price.

There's also the coupon "PAX" which will take $5 off of a $15+ purchase. So you can drop MW2 to $44.95, and in a seperate order you can add one of the $0.99 Defense Grid map packs to make Puzzle Quest be $10.94. Apparently you can use the coupon as many times as you want this month.
I think MW2 is cheaper at GoGamer this weekend, though. And since it's steamworks, it ends up on Steam no matter where you order. From GoGamer you get the added surreality of having to wait for the postman to deliver your digital download.Posted at 11:35PM on Sep 4th 2010 by one
