Stardock CEO gives another Elemental update

Even though he's supposed to be on vacation, Stardock CEO Brad Wardell managed to find an Internet connection to give an Elemental development update. The release last week of Stardock's turn-based strategy game was not without its issues and Wardell continues to state his and Stardock's future support of the title, saying, "As some of you know, most of our company's revenue doesn't come from developing games. Even if the game didn't sell another copy, we would still continue our update schedule."

Wardell states that a massive 1.1 patch will be released later this month with Wardell saying, "This will be a pretty substantial change. In particular, character creation, magic (think, shared mana pools)." A "more traditional" for the game will also be released and the release of the game's Book 2: Magesa will be released in a "mega" update later this fall instead of an expansion pack. Finally he hopes reviewers for the game won't wait to review Elemental for upcoming patches, saying, " ... if that version of the game is considered flawed then my view is that Stardock should suffer the consequences for that."
