Interplay returns to publishing PC games with Tommy Tronic and Pinball Yeah

It's been a publisher that has been living off the revenues of its previous titles for the past several years but this week Interplay announced that it was returning to publishing all new titles from third party developers. The new Interplay Discovery publishing brand will begin with two casual titles that will both come out sometime in October.

One is Pinball Yeah, a (natch) pinball title from Portugal-based developer CodeRunners that will be released for the PC and Mac. The other is Tommy Tronic, a 2D platformer title from Ukrainian developer Oasis Games that will be a PC exclusive. Interplay is looking for other "complete or nearly completed" games to publish, saying that Interplay's team "can help developers through the finalization, optimization, approval and publishing processes."
