Over a year ago a new indie game developer called Doublebear Productions announced its presence. The Seattle-based company, founded by two former members of Obsidian Entertainment, revealed plans to create a zombie-themed RPG. Today the game got a name, Dead State, along with launching the game's official web site.

As described on the site, Dead State will feature a mix of RPG and turn-based gameplay as you have to fight off the zombie apocalypse with a select group of allies in an isometric viewpoint.
