Last month, developer Hothead Games and publisher Electronic Arts released DeathSpank as a downloadable game for consoles but so far a PC version of the action-RPG title has yet to be officially announced. The game's main creator Ron Gilbert has strongly hinted a PC version was in the works as he has refered to the "XBox and PS3 and [REDACTED] versions" of DeathSpank on his official blog site.
Now comes word via Kotaku that a sequel to DeathSpank is coming and in fact will be released next month for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The sequel, titled Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue, was developed at the same time as the original but will be 50 percent longer than the first game and will have new features such as the lead character using guns for the first time.. However when asked about a PC port, Hothead Games' producer Hamish Miller would only say that the developer is "seeing some demand" for a PC port but that the team is working just on the console versions.

It was originally planned to be released on PC as well as the consoles to begin with. Not to mention that the gameplay seems like it would actually be native to PC to begin with!
I planned to buy this game for PC a long time ago, but seeing a sequel come out so soon after with little to no mention of PC is disheartening. I'm a PC gamer, and refuse to buy it on console.Posted at 8:15PM on Sep 14th 2010 by OldSchoolC

Well fuck you too Hothead. I mean what the hell, they run Greenhouse, their very own PC game download store! You'd think they might want to put their own flipping game on it. And screw this whole 'seeing some demand' bullshit. Why should I have to beg for them to release their game for my platform of choice? We should need to 'demand' it, we should simply expect it.
