Supreme Ruler: Cold War announced
Yep, its time to fight as either the US or the USSR in this title that's set in the 1950s where the Korean War flared up, the Communist threat seemed to be everywhere and you had to learn to "Duck and Cover." You have to grow your economic base, research new technology and perhaps go into all out war to win. The sandbox mode lets the player control any nation in the post WWII era and there will be multiplayer support for up to 16 players. The title is due for release in the second quarter of 2011.

Twice I had problem with loading saved game. Didn't get any patch yet, so maybe it will solve problem. Simply, game just close when I try to load saved game.
There was no other problem.

Paradox corrected the press release, the game is Supreme Ruler Cold War set in the 1950s, not 2020 :palm smacks forehead:

E. Germany will be in, we're still using some of the SR2020 data structure as we convert the engine for the new game.
And yes, the interface has been rebuilt again, we're making a big focus on feedback with this version as that seemed to be insufficient in the previous user interfaces.Posted at 1:15PM on Aug 20th 2010 by Chris Latour

So no E.Germany in the screen shots. Fail for historical accuracy. Hope they've simplified the interface because 2010 and 2020 were both ungainly beasts in that respect. Will play demo though. Posted at 6:06PM on Aug 19th 2010 by David
