The playable demo for Mafia II takes place in the 'Buzzsaw' level during the summer of the 1950s. Vito Scaletta and his buddies, Joe and Henry, are sent to take out a mobster known as 'The Fat Man." During the course of the mission, players will experience the intense action, meet some of the characters and drive around Empire Bay in vintage cars while listening to the authentic music from the era. The demo also includes a benchmark so players can see how well the game performs. Continue reading after the jump for system requirements.

Mafia II will release on August 24th in North America, August 26th in Australia, and August 27th internationally.
